Collages Photoshopped 1

Mix of architecture and nature to make this collage, the pyramid geometry of the dome can be depicted as folded paper and the other dome with the holes almost looks as if the spikes will protrude from these, I've also used the leaf background as before and inserted fold/crease direction markings

Petal/Section Kaleidescope Animation

Had a quick try to see what the viewfinder animated would look like...

Petals/Conker Section

For some reason the colours look weird on the blog, but are more similar to the single petal/section below and sticking with the theme of abstractness, I'll try and incorporate this as a background in an animation maybe.

Kaleidescope view

Again using points and geometrics, how the shapes mixed would look from the viewfinder, almost abstract:

...below, these could be interpreted as the different state the lily/conker would look in different seasons.

Kaleidescope

I saw these on the internet and thought I could some how use a similar kaleidescope technique to force the 2 objects into a hybrid, below I've just experimented, taken the geometric shape of the origami lily and the round section of the conker and repeated the shape, (ok it don't look that great!!)

A Season in Hell

This photo's by Robert Maplethorpe, the juxtoposition between the delicate, almost dying white flower held up by the dark thorny branch I thought was quite apt for my Conker and Dan's Origami Lily.

Cinema 4D vs After effects

Much prefer to use After Effects, Cinema 4d is a $@#@#!
Although I clicked to export with the Alpha Channel it kept coming through with the black background, very frustrating!!

Cinema 4D Texture Test

Screen grabs of conker with textures added

Collages Photoshopped

For some reason the colours have come out a bit weird on the blog!!
...maybe use these as textures in Cinema 4D to cover the conker??

.

Collage work

Struggled more than I thought I would doing this collage, trying to merge a geometric shape with a naturally created object.

Soft Spikes

The soft stage the conker is in before the

tough spikes/exterior is formed.

Strokes and Outlines

Created outlines/strokes of the conker spikes but using the skin/shell randomly positioned, I could use this within an animation

Spike Animation 2

Spike Animation

Cinema 4d

Had a go at making a simple spiky ball to resemble the conker outer shell in Cinema 4d, hopefully try and animate it:

Reform

Decided to use a CONKER as my object for the Reform brief.

The spikes I can visualise as nature intended repelling/armouring itself protecting the inside, at the same time I can see it morphing/clinging onto another object or maybe a bit of both and making an interesting Hybrid.

I've added a few photos but don't know which I'll use.
